was okay. the best part was hanging with my two of my best buds. the worst part was being responsible for 24 1-3 graders two of which were actually kindygartners doing first grade work (crazy homeschoolers). three of which were our own children who we had to keep in line. the food was typical camp food. high carb and not one stinkin' vitamin. the room we slept in was damp. oh so damp. isabel got in bed with me one night and asked if i had wet it! yeah, that's what happens when you turn 40 and go to camp. it's taken me about 3 days to recover. cora had fun though! and i would do it all again to see her bonding with the other girlies. complete strangers...hand in hand...arm in arm. whispering at night. promising to be friends forever and ever and ever. she makes friends SO easy. and it's SO easy at that age. she's already asked if she can go next year. yeah, baby. however, mama's staying HOME!! OH and i didn't mention that my eldest son, who has made it for 13 almost 14 years with NO broken anything broke his arm/wrist playing basketball. sadly, there was line dancing and basketball playing at the same time and those durn line dancers tripped him up. oh well, it's a good story.
i am looking forward to FARM camping. camping on my own terms. i'm ready. anyone want to join me???

Both you and Melanie have convinced me that I made the right decision when I said "no" to being a home school camp counselor!!!! You both did a great job of emphasizing the positive though:)
