sometimes i really suck

yes, i do. i suck because i use the word suck and i'm 40. i suck because my patience with my 5 children wears thin. ESPECIALLY when my 3 year old will only wear soccer shorts, shiny soccer shirts, soccer socks and soccer shoes. every day. even when there are snow flurries. ALSO when my 5 year old wants to bake a cake. every day. sometimes twice a day. i suck when i want to sit at the computer and read blogs and it is 6pm and there is no dinner to be had. we could eat cake. since there are lots of cakes. no, not lots, because i suck. i suck when my husband gives me THAT look and i quickly turn my head as to not catch his eye. yes, i do. turn my head. i suck when i feel all guilty for sucking so bad. i'm not perfect, ya know. some days i just, well, should i say it? again? at least i have one kid who understands. in his sweet 11 year old wisdom i am set free. "everybody sucks sometimes mom". yes, my boy, you are absolutely right.
