my eldest thought of the name. maybe because i talk too much. or all of us talk to much (except hubby). anyway, i decided to come back, for awhile.
my life these days is spent in the car. i'm thinking of hanging curtains, adding some throw pillows and candles. three kids playing soccer. aidan in a new homeschool "school" all the way in loveland. aidan playing basketball and aidan being a typical, social teenager. now i know why my older friends couldn't wait for at least ONE of their kids to turn 16. it's not only liberating for the kid but for the MOM/chauffeur!!
coffeeshop...good
camping...done for this year
church....caved and i'm taking aidan to BIG vineyard. really big....great for teenagers....nice patio to hang out on during church:)
sports...be glad when soccer's over
overall life is pretty good. the school aidan is going to is called leaves of learning and i think he likes it. it caters to homeschoolers and meets tues.-friday. he only goes two days a week and has all of the main classes (math, history, science and english). so, it gives him a "school" experience and i don't have to teach him! which is exactly what i was looking for. avery and cora are doing oak meadow...it's expensive BUT we love it. it's the waldorf idea in a homeschool curriculum. they combine history with english and it centers around the arts and music. they are doing really well with it and i don't feel as stressed!! SO, for now things with school are good.
i made the best apple pie the other day. it had to be made after watching a GREAT movie called "sweet land". romantic, funny and beautifully done. what more could you ask for in a flick? AND it inspired me to make pie.
that's all for now........
