ramblings

weekend: AMAZING. i forgot what a cool guy my husband is.

kids: ADORABLE. aidan is a mean basketball/skater/soccer/guitar boy. avery can whip up anything you like and more in the kitchen/loves soccer/is crazy creative/is SO like his pop.
cora has a killer smile/is extremely intuitive/loves soccer/is into animals/loves to play. isabel was a queen in her former life/has a better social life than me/loves to dance/is into washing dishes. elias is all boy...except when he wears isabels' tutu and dances with her/LOVES ALL sports/can stand on a skateboard (he's 2)/avoiding being the baby.....

house: i'm starting to bond with my house. i really want to feel at home here....since there's nowhere else we're going.

natural healing: i'm getting more and more into. i just read a book on traditional chinese healing that was extremely enlightening. how anyone can think that mind/body are separate is confusing to me. there is a woman doctor here in town who specializes in TCM. i'm wanting to get a complete physical (now that i'm 40, ya know). not that there's anything wrong....chinese medicine focuses on prevention. i just read that chinese doctors were not paid if their patient got sick! on a different note, my friend, krystal, has introduced me to the power of healing with essential oils. it is a really cool thing to find alternate ways of healing.

church: aidan decided big vineyard wasn't for him. too big, i think.

coffeeshop: david is working like crazy with not much pay. i'm baking and making soup. the coffee is amazing (part roaster/part barista). my friend sharon just hung her art there...it was awesome.

that's all i think. a small update. a happy new year letter.
